Usage

Move the mouse over the top menu for the consonant. Each character represents a combination of consonant and vowel. It is to be chosen as a typical consonant character. Then from the list in the center box, choose the proper consonant with the vowel/finals. The other version display the principle vowels and diphthongs and the ending will be displayed upon the mouseover on the specific vowel.

Choose from the list of the characters which are grouped under the same syllables with the available tones. Click the character you want to enter it into the box on the side. Rest is strict forward. If you move to another page such as another website. The entered character(字) will be saved in the cookie so you will not lose them when come back to the page. You can edit or enter character, English or Chinese, directly in the text box. Click 剪貼 if you like the characters to be in the clipboard of the system so that you can copy and paste to another application such as searching under google.
